How to practice
Sit comfortably with your spine upright but easy. Read through this once with your eyes open — after that, you can close them for the whole session.
Choose a breathing rhythm in the card below. Start with Samavritti. If you have blood pressure, heart, pregnancy, glaucoma, or any condition affected by breath‑holding, use the Medically Safe button — it removes the holds entirely.
Pick a chakra on the spine, or set minutes and press Begin journey to move through all seven in order.
Press play, then let your ears lead. A soft bell marks each change of phase, and the tone itself changes character between inhale, hold and exhale — you don't need to watch the screen to follow along. Turn on Voice cues if you'd like "Inhale / Hold / Exhale" spoken aloud.
Chant on the exhale. That's when the chakra's tone sounds — silently or quietly repeat the bīja mantra shown on screen for as long as the exhale lasts.
Stop any time. If you feel breathless or lightheaded, let go of the hold and return to plain, easy breathing.
A note on safety: breath retention (kumbhaka) isn't for everyone. Avoid holding the breath if you're pregnant, or have high or low blood pressure, a heart condition, glaucoma, epilepsy, or get dizzy easily — the Medically Safe preset is built for exactly this. This page is a meditation aid, not medical guidance.

Sit comfortably, spine easy and upright. Choose a chakra below, follow the tone, and let the bīja mantra ride out on each exhale.
Tone system
Which set of frequencies the drone uses. The classical texts specify a bīja mantra for each chakra, not a pitch in hertz — every system below is a modern overlay on that tradition. Pick whichever suits your practice.
Breath rhythm
Sets the inhale · hold · exhale · hold pattern used by every practice below. Change it any time — it takes effect from your next breath.
Full journey — root to crown
Move through all seven chakras in sequence, each held for the same length of time, tone and mantra changing as you rise.
